Abdikarem Abdulahi, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at SIMAD University, proudly led the university’s delegation at the WFME World Conference 2025, held in Bangkok, Thailand.
The conference, held under the theme “Health for All – Through Quality Medical Education,” brought together over 1,000 global leaders, educators, and policymakers committed to improving standards in medical education worldwide.
During the event, Dr. Abdikarem actively participated in high-level discussions centered on innovation, equity, and global standards in medical training. He also conducted strategic meetings with representatives from leading organizations, including:
- Kaplan Medical
- National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME)
- AMBOSS
- Elsevier
- Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
These engagements focused on fostering strategic partnerships, enhancing faculty development, and improving student training resources.
