Profile

Dr. Hassan A. Dahie, a Somali citizen residing in Mogadishu. He is an experienced medical educationist, nursing specialist and researcher with ten cumulative years of experience in designing and implementing inter-disciplinary health research projects, teaching at University level and supervision of graduate students. He is eloquent medical educator recognized in most of East African countries. He is a member of the academy of medical educators in UK.
He is about to complete his doctorate in Peace, Governance & Development from United Nations University for Peace. He has also a Master’s Degree in Public Health, Post-graduate higher Diploma in Medical Education, Bachelor of Science in General Nursing and Diploma in Registered Community Health Nursing (SRCHN).
Additionally, he has a number of professional diplomas and academic certificates in Health Systems Management, critical care nursing, Project Management, Public Health Research, Monitoring & Evaluation, Teaching Methodologies & Instructional Designs, Clinical Research, and Data Management & Analysis.
On the other hand, he has an extensive knowledge with proven skill and experience in the field of education, curriculum development, curriculum design & analysis, vocational training and quantitative & qualitative Health Researches. He was in charge of various medical curriculum development exercises across the country and internationally.
Similarly, he authored and co-authored many research articles in health-related discipline which were published in prestigious peer-reviewed research journals.
